This pertechnetate scan showed no abnormal activity and was read as negative.

However, the scan was repeated after pentagastrin administration. There is now focal tracer activity on the
left consistent with a Meckel's diverticulum.
 
After pentagastrin administration, there is now focal tracer activity on the left consistent with a Meckel's diverticulum.
