VISITING  RESIDENTS  AND  FELLOWS

All physicians requesting a rotation in our Department must submit their request through the Chairman's office. The Radiology Education Office will not accept radiologists or other physicians for medical school electives or observerships who are not affiliated with an ACGME Postgraduate Program. The Chairman decides, on an individual basis, whether we can accommodate qualifying requests.

If a resident receives approval to rotate through our department, the resident’s program must provide his/her health insurance. Visiting residents are not permitted to physically care for a patient or do any procedures on patients since they do not have an institutional permit and are not covered by our malpractice insurance.
