Notice of Revised NIH Public Access Policy Issued on January 11, 2008, this policy is in effect and requires PubMed submission of final, peer-reviewed manuscripts accepted for publication on/after April 7, 2008 resulting from NIH-funded research. Any article supported all or in part by an NIH grant must be submitted to PubMed Central (PMC) within 12 months of its publication date. [more]
Effective May 25, 2008, anyone submitting an application, proposal, or progress report to the NIH must include the PMC or NIH Manuscript Submission reference number when citing applicable articles that arise from their NIH-funded research. [more]
