There has been concerted effort by the UTHSC-H research community including Investigators, Study Coordinators, Research Administrators, CPHS Members and ORSC Staff, everyone working in harmony towards strengthening our Human Research Protection Program.

The preparation efforts include a wide range of activities including:

• Self assessment of the Human Subjects Protection Program policies and procedures to strengthen the framework for review, approval and conduct of human subjects research.
• Outreach activities to the CPHS Members, Investigators, Clinical Study Coordinators.
• Accelerated Quality Assurance efforts including education and study reviews of randomly selected research studies.
