The Microarray Core Laboratory is currently contributing to many types of projects including:

• Identification of disease biomarkers for cancer (endometrial, melanoma and breast)
  
  
• Identification of genes involved in autoimmune diseases such as scleroderma and RA
  
  
• Transcript profiling of gene responsible for adipocyte differentiation
  
  
• Transcript profiling following knock-out/ over-expression or siRNA treatment
  
  
• Determining global changes in gene expression following drug treatment
  
  
• Genotyping from amplified FFPE samples and “spit-kit” DNA samples
