Information for UT System Medical Foundation Residents

Medical Foundation Residents are provided workers' compensation insurance through a separate commercial insurance policy. The resident needs to complete the same Supervisor's First Report of Injury as mentioned above for all injuries except needle stick and/or blood borne incidents. In that case the UT System Medical Foundation resident should call the Needle stick Hotline (713-951-8013) provided by UT Student Health and speak directly to the nurse on duty.
