Advanced online registration will run from August 1, 1999 until October 15, 1999.  Late registration, after October 15, must be completed onsite at the conference and will require an additional fee.  Onsite registration will begin in the Ballroom located on the 11th floor at 8:00 am on Friday and at 8:00 am on Saturday.

Rooms have been reserved at the Marriott Medical Center and the discounted rate of $59 is available until October 29, 1999.  To make reservations, call 800-228-9290, 713-770-8055 or send email.  If making reservations via email, please include:  name, arrival/departure dates, room type, smoking preference, guarantee information, phone number and address.  Don't forget to mention the Gulf Coast Society of Toxicology.  Please advise Marriott Medical Center of any special needs when making reservations.  Parking at the Marriott is $8/day self park and $15.95/day valet. Valet parking includes IN/OUT privileges.  A shuttle will be available, courtesy of the Marriott Medical Center to and from the Conference by request.

Conference parking is available for $8 in the Texas Medical Center garage #10 and is connected by sky bridge on levels 3 & 4 to the Conference Center.  Discounted parking may be purchased for $5 at the registration table.

Transportation from Hobby and Bush Intercontinental Airports is available by contacting Airport Expess at 713/523-8888.

If your family will be visiting, the Marriott will provide transportation, by request, to local attractions within a 2.5 mile radius of the Texas Medical Center.

Submission of Abstracts will be accepted online until October 15.  We will accept abstracts which have also been submitted to the national SOT meeting.

Student Awards for poster and platform presentations will be presented at the Saturday afternoon luncheon.

There will be a Vendor show in the Parkview Terrace area, between Hickey Auditorium and the MD Anderson Ballroom from noon until 4:00.
