Dr. Dumas joined the department from Argentina where he trained and is board certified. In addition, he completed both his family medicine residency training and a research fellowship at The University of Texas- San Antonio Medical School. He served as the Medical Director of the Aldine Clinic in the Harris County Hospital District (HCHD) before becoming the Residency Program Director. Dr. Dumas practices and precepts at the UTP clinic, and attends at Memorial hermann Hospital (MHH).
