Dr. Fowler is a tenured Professor of Family Medicine and serves as Vice Chair of the department. He co-edits the textbook, Procedures for Primary Care. Formerly the Residency Program Director, his duties now range from fellowship development to enhancing the clinical areas in the department. He specializes in teaching procedures for the residency. Dr. Fowler practices and precepts at the UT Physicians clinic and attends at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center (MH-TMC). He also precepts special procedures at UT Physicians, Acres Homes, and Aldine clinics.
