Dr. Fowler is a tenured Professor of Family Medicine and serves as Vice Chair of the department. He co-edits the textbook, Procedures for Primary Care. Formerly the Residency Program Director, his duties now range from fellowship development to enhancing the clinical areas in the department. He specializes in teaching procedures for the residency. Dr. Fowler practices and precepts at the UTP clinic and attends at Memorial Hermann Hospital (MHH). He also precepts special procedures at UTP, Acres Homes and Aldine clinics.
