Medical Student Program
Dr. Bal Reddy completed his undergraduate training at University of Texas at El Paso in 1997, majoring in Microbiology and Chemistry. He attended medical school here at UT Houston and graduated in 2002. He also completed his residency here with the UT Houston Family and Community Medicine Department, and served as Chief Resident in 2004-2005. Afterwards, he joined our faculty and worked at Aldine Community Health Center until 9/2007. He now practices at the UTPB Clinic and attends at Memorial Herman Hospital. His special interests include student/resident education and preventive healthcare. In counseling his patients, he has a strong belief in the power of the mind over body.

A successful predoctoral program in family medicine introduces medical students to the principles of family medicine, while providing the essential clinical skills and training they will find useful in whichever speciality they ultimately decide to pursue. It emphasizes professional development, personal growth, and social responsibility.
