Dr. Tung graduated in 1991 from the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.S. in Biochemistry and received her medical degree from the University of California-Los Angeles School of Medicine in 1995. From 1995-1998, Dr. Tung completed her internship, residency program and Level III Echocardiography Training at the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed her Clinical Cardiology Fellowship training at Scripps Clinic, La Jolla, California in 2005. From 1999-2000 Dr. Tung was an Assistant Clinical Professor at University of California - San Diego School of Medicine, and was a Clinical Instructor from 2005-2006 at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, in Evanston, Illinois.
Dr. Tung’s clinical interest include: non-invasive cardiac imaging, adult congenital heart disease, and preventive cardiology.
Her current research projects include: cardiac resynchronization therapy, cardiac imaging of patients with premature vascular disease.
Dr. Tung is the author of 8 manuscripts, 2 abstracts and 1 teaching CD-ROM.
