Infectious Diseases Patient Care
The Division of Infectious Diseases has very active inpatient consultative services, with well balanced exposure to different infectious diseases problems at three major locations:

The Division of Infectious Diseases sees outpatients with the full range of infectious diseases, including osteomyelitis, chronic fatigue, Lyme borreliosis, HIV/AIDS, and tropical diseases acquired during travel. The Division also staffs a full service travel medicine clinic that prepares travelers to travel safely to exotic locations. Services include medications to prevent malaria and treat travelers' diarrhea and all the necessary immunizations for travel. The staff takes pride in spending the time it takes to individualize the needs of the traveler and educate them accordingly. Fellows also rotate one morning a week in an HIV continuity clinic.
