The fellowship program in hematology-oncology is
under the combined auspices of the Division of Hematology at The
University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School
and the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC). An integrated three
year fellowship in both hematology and medical oncology is offered.
The program is designed to prepare candidates for careers in
academic hematology and/or oncology. Fellows have the opportunity to
rotate through outstanding clinical and laboratory services at the
MDACC, Hermann Hospital, and Lyndon B. Johnson General Hospital
(LBJGH). A Hematology Fellowship is offered with rotations at
Memorial Hermann Hospital, LBJGH, and the MDACC.
