UT Stroke Ultrasound team provide free ultrasound examinations at health fair

The UT-Stroke Ultrasound team participates in local community health fairs to help educate patients about their stroke risk. The public receive screening ultrasounds of their carotid arteries in order to identify patients at risk for stroke due to blockage of their arteries. In addition, other members of the UT stroke team attend the health fairs in order to provide stroke education materials.
