UT Neurosonology Laboratory

The UT Neurosonology lab provides acute stroke ultrasound services to both Memorial Hermann - Texas Medical Center and the outpatient clinic. The clinic is located in the UT Professional Building and can be reached at: 832-325-7080.

Studies Performed

• Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound, including sickle-cell screening
• Carotid Ultrasound
• TCD-bubble study for right-to-left shunt detection
• Microemboli detection
• Vasomotor Reactivity Testing (breath-holding)
