About Nitin Tandon, M.D.

Dr. Nitin Tandon's clinical expertise includes the surgical management of adult and pediatric patients with medically refractory epilepsy and intrinsic brain tumors. His research background in functional localization compliments his clinical interest in mapping eloquent brain regions to facilitate safe resections.

Dr. Tandon completed his medical degree at the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India. He completed his general surgery internship at the Mayo Clinic, a neurosurgery pre-residency fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle, his residency training at UTHSC-San Antonio, and a fellowship in epilepsy surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.

Dr. Tandon heads a team of clinical and administrative professionals who collaborate to provide your care. His clinical assistant, Adriana Garza, will most likely be your first contact. She handles Dr. Tandon's patient scheduling and answers non-medical questions.
