About Dr. Crump

Dr. Crump received her medical degree from Hahnemann University and her undergraduate degree from Xavier University in New Orleans, Louisiana in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She completed her internship at Methodist hospital in Memphis, TN and her residency at Baylor College of Medicine/University of Texas at Houston Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Alliance program. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Brain Injury rehabilitation at Carolinas Rehabilitation in Charlotte, North Carolina. She joined the University of Texas Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department upon completion of her fellowship and is part of the Brain Injury and Stroke Program staff at Memorial Hermann/TIRR.

Clinical Interests:

  • Dr. Crump's clinical interests include rehabilitation of stroke and mild to severe brain injury as well as management of spasticity caused by stroke and brain injury.

Research Interests:

  • Dr. Crump's research interests include stroke and brain injury outcomes, medical management in severe brain injury.

Teaching Activities

  • Dr. Crump serves as a mentor for medical students and PM&R residents in the UT/Baylor Alliance. She also serves as a member of the Graduate Medical Education committee.
