The Developmental Neuropsychology Clinic of the Center for Human Development Research provides developmental, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessment to infants, children, and adolescents with developmental differences such as attention deficit disorders, language delay, learning disabilities, mental retardation, autistic spectrum disorders (including Asperger syndrome and PDD), prematurity, and AIDS-related disorders.

Services Provided: Assessment and diagnosis of individuals birth to 18 years:

  • Developmental testing

  • Psychoeducational testing

  • Neuropsychological testing

  • Computerized assessment of attention

  • Behavioral and psychological assessment

The Developmental Neuropsychology Clinic does not provide psychotherapy or educational interventions. However, we work closely with providers of those services and can make recommendations for services needed. In addition, some children and adolescents may be able to receive medication treatment, as well as assessment or other services, free of charge through research participation.
