    The U.T.M.S.I. Geriatrics Clinic treats elderly patients who are experiencing emotional problems, memory loss, and psychosocial and behavioral problems. The clinic serves patients whether they are living alone,with family or friends, or residing in a nursing home (upon referral from their attending physician). The Alzheimer's Disease Assessment Clinic provides screenings to adults with noticeable memory loss. Drug trials and research protocols are available to appropriate individuals, specifically patients with Alzheimer's Disease and stroke-related memory problems.
