Searching UT-Houston Web Pages

A variety of search modes can be used to discover information published on UT-Houston Web servers. Some examples are as follows:

Search "Full UTH Web Content" - All Web pages are searched for specific "words" and/or "phrases". This is a common approach but may return hundreds of pages. Thus, a more focused search may be appropriate.

Search "UTH Home Pages" - Only Web pages formally designated as "home pages" are searched for specifie "words" and/or "phrases.

Search "UTH Web Titles" - Only the titles of Web pages are searched for specific "words" and/or phrases".

Search "UTH Web URLs" - Only Web pages with URL Address matching user specific "word" and/or "phrase".

Search "UTH People Directory" - Locates names within UT-Houston White Pages (database).

Search "Deparmental Pages" - Locate specific "words" and/or "phrases" by department filter.

Currently, not all of the university's public Web content is available for searching. However, it is projected that shortly all such information will be indexed and made available for discovery.
