Society for Neuroscience Chapters Graduate Student Travel Awards

The Chapters Committee of the Society for Neuroscience is pleased to continue a program to support graduate student travel to the SfN annual meeting in San Diego, CA , November 3-7, 2007. The Society for Neuroscience Chapters Graduate Student Travel Awards provide a stipend to defray some of the travel expenses plus complimentary meeting registration fees to honor outstanding graduate students nominated by their local SfN chapters. Awardees will be chosen on the basis of the scientific merit of the abstract, evidence of outreach activities, as well as letters of nomination from the Principal Investigator/Mentor and the local nominating chapter.
Each chapter may submit a single nomination to the SfN Chapters Committee. The deadline for nominations is June 8, 2007.

Society for Neuroscience Chapters Postdoctoral Travel Awards
The Membership & Chapters Committee of the Society for Neuroscience is pleased to continue a program to support postdoctoral trainee travel to the SfN annual meeting. This year, the meeting will be held in San Diego, CA on November 3-7, 2007. The Society for Neuroscience Chapters Postdoctoral Trainee Travel Award provides a stipend to help defray travel expenses and provide complimentary meeting registration fees to honor outstanding postdoctoral trainees nominated by their local SfN chapters. Awardees will be chosen on the basis of the scientific merit of the abstract, evidence of outreach activities, as well as letters of nomination from both the Principal Investigator/Mentor and the local nominating chapter.
Each chapter may submit a single nomination to the SfN Chapters Committee. The deadline for nominations is June 8, 2007.
