Updates & Meeting Notes

For purposes of SACS re-accreditation and in response to a growing movement at UT System, it is increasingly important that UTHSC-H leadership create and sustain a forum for strategic thinking and decision making. In late summer 2005, the Deans and Vice Presidents were charged with developing strategic priorities for their area, the culmination of which is in the document before you. Since January 2006, a Strategic Planning Leadership team has met quarterly to discuss priorities, formulate a realistic institutional plan, and project funding streams in support of these initiatives. This leadership team will continue to meet quarterly as we continue to advance a strategic plan for UTHSC-H as well as its companion Compact with The University of Texas System.
