• Roy M. Huffington dies

The hyperthermia laboratory joins the Houston community in mourning the death of Houston oilman and biomedical research benefactor Roy M. Huffington. In his later years, Mr. Huffington was a generous donor to the Hyperthermia Research Laboratory.
