Dr. Bull receives 2008 Robinson Award
The J. Eugene Robinson Award of the Society for Thermal Medicine is presented to an investigator who has made outstanding contributions to hyperthermic oncology. In acceptance of her award, Dr. Bull delivered the keynote presentation entitled "Whole Body Thermal Therapy and Chemotherapy: Lessons Learned and Future Directions" on Thursday, April 10th, 2008 at the 2008 International Congress on Hyperthermic Oncology in Munich, Germany.

Laboratory receives prestigious grant
A Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation research grant was awarded to Joan Bull, M.D. and collaborators in 2007 for a proposal entitled, "The Role of Therapy-Induced Autophagy and Apoptosis in Metastatic Breast Cancer Response."
