Scholarship Selection Committee
General Responsibilities

Members of the University Classified Staff Council Scholarship Selection Committee are charged with the task of selecting candidate(s) to receive scholarship awards from applications submitted by children of classified employees of The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

The UCSC Scholarship Committee will meet mid April of each year to determine the recipient(s) of the award(s). Committee members are responsible for attending meetings and reviewing applications made available prior to each meeting.

This handbook, which includes the Committee Bylaws and Operating Procedures serves as a resource for committee members and for others interested in the UCSC Scholarship Program.

This year's deadline for scholarship submissions will be forthcoming. Completed applications can be sent to the sub-committee chair, Cecilia Lim, 7000 Fannin St., UCT 902, Houston, TX 77030.
