POSITION SUMMARY:
Oversees the public relations
programs of the university which includes public relations, new media relations,
legislative relations, publications, alumni relations and information office
services.
POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Coordinates Public Forums and
President’s Executive Luncheons.

Facilitates the President’s
Executive Luncheons.
-
Facilitates the Public Affairs
Committees of the Board of Development
-
Manages Human Resources activities
for direct reports in regards to: recruiting and selection, hiring and
termination, training, professional development, mentoring, counseling,
performance evaluations, and salary planning.

Responsible for the design,
execution and effectiveness of a system of internal controls which provides
reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient, assets
are safeguarded; financial information is reliable and compliant with applicable
laws, regulations, policies and procedures.

Performs other duties as assigned.
CERTIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
Strong statistical and analytical
skills, at the post graduate education level preferred.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree; advanced
degree preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
10 years related experience
in Public Affairs.
