This table represents the relationship between federal and state research dollars leveraged in FY 2001 by select public institutions of higher education in Texas. UT-Houston, ranked 3rd in this category, receiving $8.46 in federal research dollars for every $1.00 in state funds.
Since the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s deadline for the receipt of FY 2002 data is after the press deadline for Fact Book 2003, we will report FY 2002 activity in Fact Book 2004.
