Term of Membership

Each member will be appointed for one year. A member may serve more that one term, reappointed for a maxiumum of 3 consecutive years.

Charge

• To develop comprehensive procedures and standards to regulate all areas of UT-Houston institution-wide awards.
• To recommend a candidate for the President's Scholar Award using the guidlines for the selection process.
• To recommend candidates for Presidential Medals and develop guidelines for the selection process.
• To advise the President and Executive Vice Presidents on issues related to honors and awards.
