CONTINUING EDUCATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE (CEAC)

Guidelines

Chair:
Elected from the membership

Membership:
Representatives have overall responsibility for continuing education activities in their school/unit and include:

• One faculty/administrative representative from the Medical School.

• One faculty/administrative representative from the Dental Branch.

• One faculty/administrative representative from each of the C.E. units in the School of Public Health.

• One faculty/administrative representative from the School of Health Information Sciences.

• One faculty/administrative representative from the School of Nursing.

• One faculty/administrative representative from the Harris County Psychiatric Center.

• One faculty/administrative representative from Community Outreach and Education

Ex Officio Members:
Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs

Term of Membership:
There are no fixed terms of membership

Charge:
Foster and coordinate continuing education activities at the Health Science Center through the sharing of information, expertise and resources. Make recommendations to the President about policy issues related to continuing education at UTHSC-H.
