Submitting
a Protocol
Completed protocol applications and documents should
be submitted electronically (email or disk) to Ruby A. Benjamin-Garner
at Ruby.A.Benjamin-Garner@uth.tmc.edu;
or deliver disks to the Memorial Hermann Hospital-TMC room RPV 383.
Please label disks and documents clearly with the protocol title;
PI name and phone number; contact name and phone number, and date
and time submitted. A complete paper copy, including a signed Data
Safety Monitoring Plan, should also be submitted to Mr. Benjamin-Garner.
If you have documents not available electronically (i.e. industry
protocol), you must provide 6 paper copies.
Deadline for submission of protocol is 5:00 pm the last Friday
of the month. All required documents must be received in final and
complete form by the deadline to be considered for review at the
SAC meeting the following month. SAC meets the last Thursday of
each month except November and December. The November and December
meetings are combined and conducted on the second Thursday of December.
Any questions regarding protocol application and submission should
be directed to Mrs. Ruby A. Benjamin-Garner (713) 704-1722. Other
GCRC staff are available to assist with specific technical advice
and suggestions. Mrs. Benjamin-Garner will refer you to the appropriate
person depending upon your needs.
