Monitoring daily or specifically ordered vital signs is
important for providing individual quality patient care.
Procedure:
Neurological checks will be monitored and recorded on
patients per nurse/physician orders.
Neurologic checks will include but are not limited to
assessment of pupils, level of consciousness, movement and speech. Record checks on the Neurological/Vital
Sign Check form.
