Policy

This policy provides Information Resources Security Safeguards in the form of security banners for applications that contain patient health information. The banners are; Unauthorized banner, Usage Banner, Misuse Banner, and Expectation Banner.

Procedure

1. MIS’s Responsibilities:

The following banner below is placed at the login screen of Invision and UTHCPC’s web portal. This banner is placed as a registry entry on all computers to be displayed on Sunrise login Screen,

WARNING! Unauthorized access of this system is PROHIBITED under state and federal laws. Usage may be subject to security testing and monitoring. Misuse is subject to criminal prosecution. No expectation of privacy except as otherwise provided by applicable laws.
