Time clocks aid in monitoring staffing levels and ensuring that proper levels of care are met.

The time clocks are utilized to ensure accurate attendance and payroll record keeping. UT-HCPC
uses time clocks with biometric scanners: employees log in their employee numbers and scan their
identified finger pressure points registered in the time clock system.

Time clock rounding

The time clock rounds to the nearest quarter hour.

In accordance with: FLSA

Examples:

If the time is 2:07, the clock punches you in at 2:00.

If the time is 2:08, the clock punches you in at 2:15.
