The Public Information and Education (PIE) Department designs standard promotional materials to represent UTHCPC to various constituencies.

Tele-education

Fact sheets

Educational materials maybe available in languages other than English.

PIE department responsibilities

The PIE department has the following responsibilities:

Plans and maintains a corporate identity program through informational materials

Ensures a consistent image for UTHCPC by assisting in the editing, design, and printing of all informational materials

Publishes and releases informational materials to designated publics regarding UTHCPC's available services and operations

Assists in the planning and approval of specified informational materials for other UTHCPC departments
Provided
: The department has appropriate budget approval from the administration

Publication standards

All UTHCPC informational materials must follow the corporate standards established by the PIE department and the UTHSC at Houston.

Anyone who wishes to publish information about UTHCPC and its programs must obtain prior consent from the Administrator and the PIE department.
