Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to facilitate the shipment of overnight packages

Goals/Outcomes

Simplify the overnight shipment process and provide timely payment of vendor

Audience/User

Any authorized persons wanting to send packages overnight

Sending Overnight Shipments

The following steps describe the process for sending packages overnight:

1. Department Manager approval required to charge to specific account in eShip Global. (Please specify account to be charged).
2. Sender sends package to Fianncial Operations with delivery address and working Phone number. (Address cannot be a PO Box per Fed Ex regulations).
3. Financial Operations enters information in eShip Global and produces a shipping label.
4. Emails will be sent to sender through eShip Global with information on delivery status.
5. Financial Operations coordinates package and delivers to Central Stores for expediting to Fed Ex for delivery.
