Seclusion rooms are routinely cleaned to provide a healthy and therapeutic environment
for patients.
Housekeeping staff duties
Housekeeping staff clean the seclusion rooms on the following schedule:

 | Spray the mattress with approved disinfectant spray
|
| Allow spray to remain in contact with the surface for at least 2 minutes
|
| Wipe the spray off of the surfaces |

Daily
|
| Spray the mattress with the approved disinfectant spray
|
| Allow spray to remain for at least 2 minutes
|
| Wipe spray off of the surfaces
|
| Sweep and wet mop the floor
|
| Spray the plexi-glass window with the approved glass cleaner and wipe clean. Repeat on the opposite side of the door.

| Clean visible dirt off of the walls |

Monthly
|
| Dust the walls inside the seclusion rooms
|
| Dust the air conditioner vents |
