It is the responsibility of the Patient Registration Department to ensure that
all patients of UTHCPC are admitted in accordance with the following:
 | UTHCPC Lease, Sublease, and Operating Agreement |
| The Texas Mental Health Code |
| Established medical practice |
The Patient Registration office operates 24 hours per day and 365 days per year as set forth by Administration.
The Nursing Supervisor or his/her designee supports the registration function for patients admitted in an emergency situation.
The Patient Registration Coordinator or his/her designee is available by pager to answer questions arising after normal hours.
