A request for issuance of a Mental Health Warrant (EDO) after 4:00 p.m. weekdays
and on weekends and holidays will be pursued when appropriate as indicated by a clinical screening
assessment. Determinations of an emergent "harm to self or others"
condition existing, and an assessment of agreement for services between provider
and potential patient will be made. The person's safety and well-being is a
priority concern.
