The Equipment Management plan has the following functions:

The Safety Committee and other appropriate staff to identify equipment performance and/or use problems by reviewing the following:
![]() | Equipment failures: Equipment failing to perform must be removed from the unit immediately and report it to the Medical equipment manager. Back up equipment is located in room 1-A87, (after hour access by the nursing supervisor on duty). AED backup batteries are located in the Medical equipment manager’s office 1-A60A. Recalls: If any medical equipment is recalled, the equipment must be removed from service immediately. |
