Purpose: For safe environment.

Incoming containers

Do not remove or deface any existing labels if incoming container contains product.

Inspect storage containers and cabinet labels.

Routinely

Department

Ensures labels on all containers and storage cabinets are as follows:

Written in legible English as the primary language

Identify the name and hazard/warning for the material
Example
: Acetone - Flammable

Exceptions:
The following are do not require labels:

An empty incoming container

Portable container for immediate use
Example
: A product immediately transferred from a labeled container to an unlabeled portable container
