Evaluation frequency adjustments

PSM updates
PSM automatically adjusts evaluation dates for some situations.
Examples
: Employees returning from a leave-of-absence, employees receiving promotions or transfers

Supervisor-requested updates
Supervisors request evaluation date adjustments due to extenuating circumstances. Managers can request an extension in writing justifying the request for an extension based on extenuating circumstances. The director of PSM will approve or deny the request.

HOOPS guidelines
Employees transferring to another department are under a new 120-day probationary period.
Exception
: Internal departmental transfers within UTHCPC do not result in a change of evaluation dates.
