New Psychology Training Director Appointed
Congratulations to Sharon Morgan, PhD, upon being appointed the new Psychology Training Director. Dr. Morgan will supervise four students, here at UTHCPC and UTMSI.

Classified Staff Council Seeks Representatives
The University Classified Staff Council is seeking people to represent UTHCPC. All full-time UTHCPC classified staff are eligible. Representatives of the Classified Staff Council will be available to answer your questions on Wednesday, June 16, 2004, from Noon to 1 pm in the second floor elevator lobby. For further information, please contact your current representatives, Tammy Merimon or Darlene Butler.

Annual Insurance Enrollment Almost Here – Many New Changes
The Annual UTHSCH Insurance and Benefits Enrollment will occur July 1-31. During this period you may make changes to your group insurance coverage. UT System has developed a convenient paperless enrollment system call UT TOUCH online. With UT Touch online you can view and change your coverage via the Internet from any Internet-accessible computer at work, home or local library at http://www.utsystem.edu/egi/

This year, the UT Touch telephone line 1 800 UT TOUCH will not be available to make changes.

In the next few weeks, the UT System Employee Group Insurance Office will send an e-mail indicating your current insurance coverage and you important Personal Identification Number (PIN). Your PIN number will be necessary in order to make changes to your existing insurance coverage. Additional information about annual enrollment will be forthcoming.

Nominations Sought for President’s Award for Mentoring Women
Has someone given you advice to help you define or reach your goals, shared with you "how the system works," or taken the time to introduce you to the "right" people? Have you matured as a person or as a professional from this advice?

If so, please consider nominating your mentor for The President's Award for Mentoring Women. The Mentor, who may be male or female, must work at The University. The person(s) mentored must be female. Three Mentors will receive this award - one each from Faculty, Administrative and Professional Staff, and Classified Staff. Each winning Mentor receives $2000.
