Insurance Information
The University of Texas Health Services - Houston is a primary care provider (PCP) for the UT employee health plan. We are also affiliated with most other major insurance companies. Call us about your current insurance benefits - we are probably listed with your insurance company's network.
We accept and bill all insurance carriers for services rendered. This covers in-network benefits and out-of-network benefit handling. Information related to referrals, specialists, drug programs co-payments, etc., can be obtained by calling our referral coordinator at 713-500-3242.
.Worker's Compensation Insurance is designed to provide insurance coverage by the employer for employees who incur an injury or illness while working. UT Health Services accepts WCI insurance provided the Supervisor's First Report of Injury form (TWCC69) accompanies the employee at the time of the first visit.
Medicare - All UT Health Services providers participate in the Medicare Program and will accept Medicare insurance. Our billing department will file your insurance claims and handle necessary paperwork.
